This is the same system and the same company that has been using this process in Franklin Township for the past 4 years. This “maintenance” procedure will extend the life of the road for many years. This process is considerably less expensive than milling off 2 inches of asphalt and laying down a new 2-inch asphalt overlay. After the road is done (top fog coat applied) it will look like a new road. This will look like the old “tar and chip” that you see on many state roads until the final fog coat is applied.
